honda s2k topend

I am wondering if any of you guys out there know about the 60-100 or 60-120 of a honda s2k. Specifically the 2.2 vs the 2.0 (earlier) models. I saw one race a 2003 mutang GT and the only place it beat the GT was in a roll from 20, then around 85 or 90 mph (4th gear for the mustang) the mustang was starting to even out again... It was now how I'd expected the race to go. Is the 4th gear in a mustang powerful? Cause after third my friend's car seems to really give out (v6 mustang 01) and 4th is even worse.

If any of you have a good site that shows 60-100 or 60-120 specs for cars I'd really like to see it.

I don't have any sites for you, but I did recently watch some gt challenge where new mustang gt smashed on a bunch of imports...even porsche on the straights. Man it just pulled. I think with the larger engine displacement there is more room for top end. The smaller engine(s2k)Has already tapped all of its resources.....no torque to keep engine climbing. What's the rpm at on 80mph freeway in the s2.

The problem is we don't know what was in the mustang...Unless I just missed it. There are sooo many things you can easily do to boost power those engines. You will just have to fill up every 20 miles!

Re: honda s2k topend

stock vs stock... the s2000 should eat up GTs and should still beat the new ones

That's exactly what I thought. They have better top-end acceleration than a stock integra type R right?

I would certainly hope so with about 40 more horse power or so, and larger engine!

DOesn't s2k have 240 hp?

Yes. 240 hp and (on the old 2.0 L engines) 153 torque or something close to that.
