Replacing a 1991 DOHC Engine
I have a 91 Stealth with a blown engine. While I can get an exact replacement, I am having trouble finding a repair manual giving me engine/transmission torque specs and other engine removal/replacement info. Do any of you know a site or CD which deals with the basic steps / specs for replacing the DOHC engine? Any help would be appreciated. Doesn't appear to be much for the 91 Stealth.
Thanks Randy Hlavac |

Re: Replacing a 1991 DOHC Engine
This is for a TT engine, but same idea
http://www.vr4stealth.com/engine-pull.html Do searches on here and on www.3si.org, and check out www.stealth316.com Also make sure you stick with a 91-93 engine, a newer DOHC engine will have some issues that will make the swap a bit more difficult. And for the sake of making everything alot easier...take TONS of pictures and bag and label all screws and bolts etc.

Re: Replacing a 1991 DOHC Engine
correction: stay with a 91-92 engine, the 93 is the updated style.
