Very carefully, VERY CAREFULLY.... tip the glass and get a pry bar under so the tip of the pry bar goes close to the center and push up. I've wondered if you can reach the locking tabs at the circle and pull a few loose and then pull the glass off. Good luck, I've got three off successfully and two broken. Not great odds for me.

i got it apart. its actually not that bad. i tipped the glass and then i got a long skinny screw driver and i popped like 4 clips loose and then is just unsnapped around slowly and came off and the the rest of the mirror came apart with clips and a few screws here and there.

While u got your mirrors off, you ought to upgrade to those with the turn signals in them.

One wire to ground on the door, one wire to the cluster under the dash per door. Simple, well worth the time. Found mine on eBay, came with directions.

Make sure they are the Muth, they are direct replacements for the '03 and up models like Tahoes, Yukons and other GM lines. They are quality mirrors. I got mine off eBay delivered for something like $175, can't remember, with the extra wires and directions included.
