Question 96 Grand AM GT v6 PLEASE READ NEED HELP!!!

Ok.. I have a problem. I spent the last week changing my spark plugs on my 96 grand am GT v6 3.1L. I finally got the back 3 done tonite after a few hours (ITS A PAINNNN) and during the process I had to disconnect A LOT of electrical coords and 2 hoses from this thing behind where the 6 spark plugs plug in on the opposite side from where the spark plugs are which has printed on the side Delco Remy and the numbers 210. and on the thing where the 2 hoses plugs into it says C A P vertically. It looks like a rectangle shaped pump, with 1 electriciy coord going into it and 2 nobs for the hoses below that. My question is... I forgot to mark which hose goes onto which nob. Theres only 2 nobs, one higher and one right below it. It appears to be a PUMP of some sort. Im guessing it pumps in from one of the hoses from the engine, and OUt thru the other hose. I followed one of the hoses and it goes to the RIGHT FRONT of the engine and actually plugs directing into the engine on top (if your facing the engine). I followed the other one too, and it goes left behind teh alternator and down the side of the left side of the engine compartment and along the radiators overflow tank then goes into some mechanism below the overflow tank in the front left part of the car. ON the left one half way thru theres a little GREEN nob u can twist off with your fingers that says something about keeping it 1PSI and its a service access. It also says EMIT which im guessing is emissions of some sort.

I just need to know which nob the one that goes from the engine needs to plug into, because I don't want to mess my engine up so im going to wait to find this out so I can make sure its right. Thanks for help in advance!!! Sorry if I confused....

I need to know which plug the coord that coems from the Right front engine needs to plug into, the top of the bottom one.

BTW: I just added color in the pic so its easier to see the things... they are actually all BLACK in real life.

Here is a picture I drew which kind of shows what im talking about... please help asap.. i need to do this tomarrow morning!!!

Re: 96 Grand AM GT v6 PLEASE READ NEED HELP!!!

he is right...the top one goes to the intake and the bottom one goes to the canister under the overflow tank. It is only a vacuum line so you wouldn't have blown anything up 8-)
but smog will be happier
