Lamborghini Diablo VT by Fujimi *In Progress*

Started on this Fujimi Diablo VT.

Some thoughts on the kit first:

The body is in 7 pieces, but everything fits perfectly. This is perhaps the best fitting Fujimi kit I have ever built. Everything connects together by screws, but perfectly. The doors are hinged via metal paperclip-style hinges, there is photoetched parts, etc. Overall very nice kit.

The color is Metallic Green (Same as my Murcielago...wanted to do a sort of "generations" of Lamborghini set up) Inerior is going to be two tone, dark brown and light brown.

First, the engine. A few wires, a few carbon fiber decals... a few metal and photoetch parts and viola..something resembling an engine is born.

Wheels:

Body in pieces, painted but not polished

Excuse the dust on the body, it was sitting on my desk for a while.

Comments?

I think you convinced me to buy that kit, I was a little sceptic about fittment but now you cleard everything and since the price is less then 10$ I think I will make a good deal
Wheels are washed with Testors metalizers?
Allthou the dust and dark hide the body it is obvious that it is flawless.

I think the fitment is very good for a Fujimi kit. The screw-in type of attachment works good on this type of car with so many open doors/trunk, etc. Wheels are sprayed with Testors Tint film. Can also use Tamiya smoke. They are also detailed with kit decals, stem nipple and wheel weights (on the inside).

I have not polished the body yet, but I have polished a couple of individul pieces... I think I will tkae some outside pics when polishing is complete.

Thanks for the positive feedback.

Nice progress. Engine detailing is nice and the exterior color choice is unique.

Progress... surprisingly for Fujimi, everything seems to falling together and fitting just fine, despite the complicated hinges and numerous bodypieces. I am yet to use on of the bolts that Fujimi seemed so fitting to bless me with.

Comments? Suggestions?

Looks good. A little reminder - the front steering indicators are misplaced.
