AirBrushing!!! Help!!
I am about to buy a new car in about a week so i'm trying to figure out some mods i can do to it. One of the many ideas i have, is airbrushing a picture on the sides and hood of my car. Basically i need to know if you can airbrush right over the clear coat?? Then if need be put another layer of clear coat on.
Or should i just go with decals?? Also another quick question LED ground effects VS Neon ground effects?? which ones brighter? Durability things like that thanks alot have a good one |

hey there ryan. to airbrush over the clearcoat, you will have to scuff the existing clear and then re-clear your artwork. sanding with 600 or scuffing with a scuff pad (the grey ones from 3M for example) will do the the job. just sand the whole panel and mask it off and clear over your work. you have to scuff or wet sand the panel so the airbrush paints have some bite. decals sure would save a lot of time but wouldnt be as personal, i guess it really depends on what you are looking for. a mural type painting is a lot of work.
cheers

Re: AirBrushing!!! Help!!
LED vs. Neon
Neon is brighter LED is more durable Depends on the application you want to do.
