Each motor on the seat should have a pigtail on it, one side hot one ground...you should be able to see where each goes to by flipping the seat over, one to the forward and back, one to raise and lower and one to the lumbar support, also coulds have one for heated seat (not sure on a '97)...I'm guessing on this but if you remove your old seat and lift the carpet back you may have the connections already laying on the floor under the carpet..let me know if you need the color code, I'll check mine for you, good luck

Re: power seat

if you have the color code thats great, and ive already checked for the female end lol its not there, my truck didnt come with any extras at all, so no suprise, but if its just a hot and grnd wire, it wont be hard to draw off my amp

On my '96 all hots on the seat are orange and all grounds are black, if you do wire it direct I would recomend a 20 amp fuse in the circiut, thats what's on mine...and make sure the movement of the seat wont pinch the wires, use zip ties down the middle underneath, good luck
