chances are a wiring problem, use a test light to confirm, or swap the left and right lights to ensure you just didn't buy a bad blub. also double check all fuses

Re: 92 sc2 high beams

on the back side of the bulb there are three wires. the colors *should* be orange(constint power), light green(switched ground, high), and tan(switched ground, low). disconnect the bulb so you have access to the terminals inside the connectior. connect the test light to the negitive battery terminal and probe the orange wire, the tester should light, if it doesn't, check the fuse. next, connect the test light to the positive battery terminal, probe the light green and tan wires, with the headlight switch off, nothing should light, with the headlight switch on low, the tan wire should light only, on high, the green wire should light only. if everything tests ok, check the bulb, if the bulb is ok, the connectior you just tested may have a loose contact inside. if the test above showed a wire not lighting when it should, you have a wiring problem and further testing with a wiring diagram is needed.
