help with 1999 civic ex motor swap

hello,

my friend engine blew becouse he went to a place to get his oil changed nd they dident put any in.so he drove any and so on noticed a it running real weird didnt think anything of it and then sooner then he new it he was on the high way and that when it all happend.he only had.40k miles on that motor.anyway.

he has a 1999 honda civic ex and now he has to get a motor so he is gunna get bigger and better hopefully.but he nore me dont know what will just drop rite in with no mods done.

wich engine of these honda engines could we just drop in with out any mods done.

it should fit right in.
what is this new motor going to be used for.
daily driver/ street racer.
the b18c are suppost to be good for forced induction( if you are lookin to go that rought)
if not you may want to save some $$ and just get a b16 (would be very respectable still)

b18 > b16 its that simple l learned hardway.

ull have a headache with the wiring if, if you dont know what youre doing dont do it. get a b16 and just plug it in. if you get a b18 let me know ill sell you a conerted wiring harness.
