Other engines

do any of you know if another engine has been put in to a 3S i know of the montero engine but what about other types like 8 cylender and 4 cyl engines.

i saw some guy put a 5L Ford engine in to his mmc starion and thats a 2-2.6L car so i wuld think the 3s culd handle a 8 cyl engine

a couple of v8's, one being a 440 mopar. I was planning on putting a 5.0 mustang engine in mine, but I just ran across a VR4 for 2800 so im probably going to pick that up instead.

I've always wondered what would happen if you put in a muscle-car engine. Any idea how much hp the mopar was putting out?

440 six pack was well over 300hp if i remember corectly. i think these cars wuld make awsome V8's and with the rear wheel drive you culd probably do some crazy donuts and slides.

i think its a shame that MMC has had a Rwd phobia ever since they made the starion. i think they havent made a car with rwd for nearly 20 years or something.

i still think the 4wd is awsome but the non turbo cars wuld have been sooooooo much better with a rwd. theres just something strange with seeing the front wheels spin instead of the rear especialy when they are smokin
