does does a jag. v6 bolt up yto a taurus

i just blew the motor in my 99 taurus and i was doing some research and i was wonderin if a jaguar x type engine would bolt up right to my taurus

Only if it's the same engine they put in your car.

it would bolt up with an AX4N (might need to modify the output shaft) and Duratec Taurus mounts but you'd need a custom ECU because it doesn't use an AX4N in the Jag and no Taurus has the ignition system that the Jag has.

yeah thanx i guess il just stick to the taurus engine becasue it is not a duratec(just the reguar 12valve 3.0)and im not bout to spend the money on a ecu i was just curious but thanx for the help
