chassis lube

I have an 04 Ion and the dealer says it $68 to lube the chassis. Can this be done by a non-dealer? Valvoline told me they don't lube sealed components. Not sure if the Ion's are sealed or not.

i *think* they are sealed but i may be wrong, check your owners manual.

are you sure this wasn't for a oil change or something else?

i have a 2001 sc2 & mine are sealed, so i imagine so are yours....
