speeding ticket!!!!!

ya, so i woke up this morning hung over from goin to the bar for my friends b-day, and went to get my coffee. its about 3 miles away. i was driving down the street tired as hell, and see a cop hiding at the last second. i knew he was pulling me over, so i slipped my seatbelt on(which i usually use). 50 in a 30. sorry but 50 mph isnt that fast and i dont even know if i was doin 50, maybe 43 or somethin. welll, i didnt argue, just took the ticket and left. i just looked at it-$165.!!!!!damn i wish i was karmacae, i could of cryed my way out of it!lol i should of took the h2 instead of the pt turbo, but i didnt want to get it dirty with my dog cause its ready for my mom to rent tomarrow. well, u play u pay i guess.

aww that really sucks, mine was worse tho! first time ever getting pulled over, doing 17 over in the middle of the country, no one around me, not doing anything stupid. no warning or anything, some madison cop pulls me over out in waunakee where i live. *20 miles away from where he should be* yeah, first time being pulled over, no warning or anything, i get a $181 ticket! f'ing sucked. that was oct. still haven't told my parents hehe. i had to have my friend pay for the entire thing cuz i was broke and couldn't get a job. i finally got him paid back last week. yay for me on that one. something interesting tho, if u don't contest ur tickets in court, it doesn't show up on ur public record, and if ur insurance company is lazy and doesn't dig for them, it's quite possible they won't ever find out about those ones. i know someone who's gotten pulled over 6 times *with tickets* and his insurance company doesn't know about any of them. so far my parents haven't said anything about insurance being higher. it sucked cuz since i was still under GDL, i had only gotten my license 4 months earlier, my GDL got extended for another year. ugh, it would have been up in march but i have to wait until sept. doesn't really matter, who follows it anyways? also, what does everything think about GDL? Good idea or bad idea?

Yeah, You probably were only going the 45 you thought,

I got one 60 in a 40, think I was only really doing like 55, first day drivin a standard, (just tryin to fit into traffic )

But cops can "estimate" your speed, and he probably did since it wasn't like 51MPH,

Damn them not using there radars...At least then I could've seen(heard, radar detector) the bastard with out him seein me,

Re: speeding ticket!!!!!

that sucks. what a way to start the day. I recently got pulled over for a 48 in a 35. and I wasnt wearing my belt. I was jumping from store to store. Luckily I knew the cop. so all I got was a warning...... and a call to my supervisor......

maybe I should have taken the ticket......
