Whats the lowest you can go?

What is the lowest drop you can do on a 2000 Blazer with 20 inch rims (255/40/20)?

Re: Whats the lowest you can go?

Tell you the truth dropping a 4wd is really a bad idea, it goes against the whole idea of 4wd. Maybe you can set it down a couple inches with the right springs, shock setup, but can't say I would recommend a true drop, belive me i researched it.

IMHO you are just asking for problems with the 4wd setup, they are designed for a certain ride height, dont get me wrong for the right price anything can be done, but are you willing to pay to play?

Before you think about lowering price a new front end rebuild, balljoints, bearings, alignment. I bet after you price the possible rebuild (which is what you will need in 2-3 years) you can deal with the looks. once again just my opinion.

Re: Whats the lowest you can go?

You can do a 4/3 easily by cranking down the torsion bars and then putting drop blocks in the back. After you do that, get it aligned and you will be fine. (Don't forget to cut the bump stops off when you do the blocks)
