reading trouble codes.

I know how to display the trouble codes on my 88 Camaro RS.

The problem is I have no idea what the flashes mean. Is there a formula to figure out what they are or something? Am I missing something?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: reading trouble codes.

Check out this thread it has some info on how to read them:

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ighlight=Flash

Then check out this website it has a bunch of the codes listed:

http://www.iroczone.com/specs/TroubleCodes.htm

Hope it helps...

Thanks a lot. I tried to search for a thread but it didn't dawn on me to search for "flash."

Re: reading trouble codes.

Yeah, I remembered reading about it and people using "flash" to describe it. Glad I could help.

replace the CTS and it 'should' resolve both codes.
