Unhappy customizing dilemma

We would like some opinions on what I could do to customize my Cavaliers. We recently bought 2, 2002 Cavalier LS Sport Coupes. The yellow one I already put black racing stripes on it and it looks really nice. I have had people drooling over it and wanting to buy it from me. I would like to make it show car worthy. It already has a body kit on it and has fog lights and sunroof. I don't know if there is much more I can do for it. My next questions is about the other Cavalier. It has everything the yellow one does but its black with silver and red pinstriping. We were discussing about putting racing stripes on that one too. The problem is what would look better Red or Silver racing stripes? I think red would stand out better but he says silver. Can ya help us out?

Re: customizing dilemma

If you put black rims on it, either of those stripes would work. Red would look cool with a dark tint in the windows...but silver stripes would also look cool with gunmetal rims. I think the silver would actually stand out more to tell you the truth, and might look alittle classier. Put some black headlight/taillight covers on it and it should kick ass.

First off, take off the silver/red pinstriping on the black one, it'll really clean up the lines of the car. It depends on what u want to do with the theme of the car. Red racing stripes will make the car sportier and would look good with black or gunmetal rims and maybe red accents inside the car. Silver would make it a little classier with chrome rims. Black cars always look good with the windows blacked out and black headlight/tail light covers

Re: customizing dilemma

Ditch all of the Pin striping, and anything that is vinyl. It will make the car look sooo much cleaner. Lower it and run some 18's. But its not what i think, it your car do what you want but that is what i would do. Debadge it and loose all the Vinyl.

Re: customizing dilemma

Personally I like having the emblems on the car. If those are taken off along with the pin striping it looks to bare....keep the emblems is what i would do, loose the pin striping.

Re: customizing dilemma

You should post some pictures of your car(s). I'm curious as to see what they look like.

Re: customizing dilemma

Well I don't have a digital cam. The only way I can is to try and see if I can have a friend take some and email them to me. The yellow one look sharp with the racing stripes Its got the ground effects on it, and the clear tail lights, fog lights and a sunroof. We got a damn good deal on it. Thats the one I really want to put in a car show. But gotta find one that allows newer cars in them.

i've never heard of a (general) car show that doesn't allow newer cars. the only exception is a classic car only show.
