Paint
Anybody know where I can find a rare paint? My car is the Buick flame red metallic, and isn't used anymore.

Try an automotive paint shop. One was able to match my paint and

I used to work at a place that also had an automotive paint shop within the store, and they had books that went back probably to the '40s on paints that were used on the cars. The guy who worked in the paint shop could look up the particular paint in question, and it would give him some codes. He could then mix the paint by using those codes and usually the results were perfect. He had a great reputation in town for mixing the paint and all the local dealers/bodyshops came to him for hard to find paints. That was over 15 years ago, and I'm sure many more paint supply shops can duplicate this today with more modern technology, and advanced techniques that either were not around then or that he didn't utilize.( Hell he didn't use a microfiche machine until the late '70s, wouldn't even go near a computer. Between his rack of books and microfiche machine he did great work.)
