How To Bring In For Race Only.?.

Ok here is my question’s about brining in a skyline. I have seen most of the posts about bringing them in part by part or trying to get around motorx and all. How do you bring in a skyline for race only? I am setting up a trip for myself in a year or two where I am going to get a car in England and drive through Europe to visit all the car manufactures and the Nuremburg racetrack over a month. I was looking at a few new cars but with the cost of currency conversions it leaves me littlie for a new car. I can cut my costs down buy getting a used car; I see that there are a few skylines for sale for pretty cheep even after converting my money. I have access to a semi used to bring my uncle’s racecars around that I can use to pick up at any port but coming from the other side of the county it should be easy to get striate to Texas. Someone here should know they got a skyline for the forum, I don’t know where if it was in the US already but there are a lot of knowledgeable people here.

What I was actually looking for. You can only bring in "Race cars made by the factory" without anything "Safety looking" before in the country otherwise can only stay for a short time. Also rules on show cars but can only put 2,500mi on a year to few for racing. So looks like it must be converted before brought in or are brought in as a regular car and comply with all DOT and safety. Would be better for me to bring back another car from my trip but I wish that this helps people thinking of bringing in skylines for show or race so feel free to keep this around. May want to keep up with the approval of the 1989 R32 for importing into the United States.
