looking to buy crx...good deal?

Hey all....Im looking at a red 1990 si, with barely any rust and just an overall beatiful shell. It only has 160k on the body and round 75k on the engine. Here are the mods:

-LS engine swap with aluminum motor mounts ( from a 91 integra )
-chiped ecu, more aggressive fuel curves, max speed limiter removed, and rev limiter moved to 9200 rpms
- aem cold air intake
- front and rear upper sway bars
-leather GSR seats
- corbeau 3 point harness
-momo wheel
-white face gauges
-short throw shifter
-pioneer deck, blaupunk component speakers, mtx 4500 subs
-rewires fog lights

Car runs great too

he wants 3k obo

The only real problem is that the check engine light is on because of the water temp sensor.......can i get some info on this too...

engine needs a sticker....is this difficult to get with the ls motor, should i have any problems?

Alright any info would be great.....what should i offer him?...thanks

I have no idea how much the water temp sensor could cost, but don't forget that the sensor could actually be giving a warning, like it needs a new water pump, or whatever. Does the car overheat at all? Did you drive it? I don't know what you should offer him until you answer these questions.

Why would it need a sticker? Stickers = rice. Just keep it clean.

If you do buy it, but a Vtec head on it for even more power.

Do you mean inspection sticker? That might be a pain. Anything can be fixed like the temp sensor or whatever. Make sure it's not overheating. BTW, a 9200rpm redline would be absolutely useless for a stock LS engine unless it had high compression or was a built LS/vtec hybrid...

yeah please dont rev it to 9200 or even try. Youll probably wont make it past 8k before it blows.
