Re: WINDOW TINT removed, now this sticky shit

windex and steel wool maybe? All we ever use at our shop is razors and steel wool...and I have yet to come across something on a window that didn't come off with one or the other.

Re: WINDOW TINT removed, now this sticky shit

Ours never did. They always had huge rolls of steel wool (I'm talking like 2 foot wide rolls) specifically for getting crap off the windows.

I used windex and paper towels, little scrubbing should take it off,
Another ammonia based cleaner should work,

Step up to diluted ammonia if youre not getting anywhere,

Re: WINDOW TINT removed, now this sticky shit

Use gel "Goo Gone" .if you can't find gel type, find yourself a regular Goo Gone and put it in hair spray bottle and spray a few light coat, but not dripping. Wait a few minutes and scrape with a plastic scraper. Repeat a few times and finally, wipe with paper towel, then wipe with windex. You can use alcohol or nail polish remover, but they are too volatile, spreads the mess around so they tend to be hard to work with.
