Hi guys...lookin for a little help here... i have a 90 plymouth laser RS (auto) and its stalling on me. Not all of the time.. but (ie)when i stop at a stop sign and then press the gas all of the way to the floor there is always some hesatation...but sometimes it just dies. I just had the plugs, fuel filter, and battery changed. and my car recently came out of the shop due to a blown main fuse and voltage regulator ( the car had the problem before too ) ... its the first dsm of mine thats really given me trouble ... and its quite frustarating. any imput would be appreciated

Re: My car is stalling....but only when the gas is pushed all the way down from a stop
what ever i say take with a grain of salt because im still new to the DSM life as well, but i had a similar problem due to over gaped spark plugs.

Re: My car is stalling....but only when the gas is pushed all the way down from a stop
is it turbo? awd? sorry the lasers dont tell us much by the names and i forget.
if its turbo definately check the spark plug gaps and make sure they are gapped at .28

Re: My car is stalling....but only when the gas is pushed all the way down from a stop
also if it's turbo and you get new plugs, don't go with platinum. they won't last.

Re: My car is stalling....but only when the gas is pushed all the way down from a stop
Usually 035-040 for NT motors of any kind. There is usually a sticker under the hood that lists the stock gap. Not sure if the 90s had them, or if it would still be there after 15 years.
