What's the first word in the title of the thread?

It's a nice kit, it just came out. I got mine on Saturday.

LOL, people never read anything here, they just look at the perty pikshurs.

We had a club open house at the Model Roundup on Saturday, they sold a lot of the new Vipers and '04 GTO's and even a few of the new Mustang II's. The Viper is sweet...I'm planning to build mine as a white '04 Mamba edition.

Re: Revell SRT10 Viper and newly aquired kits!

Ahhh, you beat me to it!!!

I've got pictures of the SRT-10 as well, and was about to post them up.

This kit looks awesome. When I first opened it up, I couldn't believe how many pieces there were, and how fine the details are, especially on a Revell. Rivals a Tamiya full engine detail kit... maybe beats it. The kit it reminds me of the most right away, was the Tamiya 360 Spider. It has a multipiece body which is going to be a little challenging for new comers, but on the other hand will make for some beautiful kits in the right hands.

The box says 95+ pieces, and none of those are 'extras'. There is a lot of detail in this beast.

I hope you guys don't take this as advertising... just want to let you know of a great deal. I got mine from Dennis over at www.modelexpress.net. $14 CDN ($10.49 USD), plus very little for shipping. (Note: I just checked the website for USD pricing, and it appears he's taking a holiday and won't be back until May 31).

Anyway, I'll see if I can add any pictures to the nice ones that blubaja already took...

The parts count is very reasonable; good detail w/o being a lifelong challenge like a Fujimi Enthusiast kit . Intimidation factor isn't an issue.

One thing I find interesting is the gray interior...there's already a black parts tree, why isn't the interior black? Viper interiors are black, not gray. Unless you get a Mamba Edition, which has some red accents but it's still mostly black. Oh well, that's not really a problem as I'd be painting it all anyway. Maybe I'll start it this weekend while it's still new and hot.

Re: Revell SRT10 Viper and newly aquired kits!

I am wondering if the viper wheels will fit on the dodge ram I have. I am trying to do all the srt series..that I can..
I have the SRT-4 diecast, Crossfire, to be SRT-6ed,
will have to wait and see if those AMT or Revellogram will do a Magnum/Charger/300C..then I'll do them to SRT-8,
then there's the SRT-10 viper and ram truck. I might wind up doing the Rumble Bee, but in 4dr...o well Sorry for thinking out loud
