Trouble shooting an SES fault

I have a 1997 Grand Prix GT with about 120k miles that runs like a champ. My SES light came on...I can pull the code....does anyone know of a reference manual or guide that can help me diagnose or troubleshoot the problem?

There's probably more detailed info in the Haynes, Chilton or Helms service/shop manuals. The best thing to do is post your DTC error code here in the forum, along with your symptoms, car mileage, any other pertinent details and you'll be surprised how much expertise there is here to help you.

Someone is bound to get you in the right direction based on experiencing a similar problem or their knowledge. Good luck!
