I need help with these codes

"P0170 its a fuel trim bank 1 malfunction", does anybody know if thats a sensor or what it is. also theres a "manfacurer contrl. auxillary emission controls P1400" that the scanner reads. can anybody help me out.

I need to know cuz im going to race a mustang cobra and if i dont fix what it has im screwed

Impossible to diagnose this over the internet, there are many causes for a fuel trim limit problem. Most likely a bad O2 sensor. Has no effect at WOT though. Just for posting 3 times in a row (With the last two 10 minutes apart) I hope that Cobra slips you the sausage in that race

well do know what manfacurer contrl. auxiliary emission controls P1400. Or if any of these sensors that i said above will they make me lose power or speed. What do you suggest that i do fix the sensors that i need to fix or get my intercooler piping with the b.o.v. and by the way thanks for wishing me luck at the race. The guy with the cobra said that eclipse suck so i want to prove him wrong.
