2000 gt alternator?

I was wonderin if anyone had installed a sound system in a 2000 and up celica and if you did, did you have to replace the alternator or anything. I dont want to hook my system up and it drain my battery. I'm runnin a 800 watt planet audio amp. I think the 2000 gt has an 80 amp alternator. In my other car i had a 130 amp and the amp ran fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You'll be fine.. I was running a Phoenix Gold Tantrum 1200.1 (1500wrms) and a PG Tantrum 600.4 (620wrms) on my stock aternator.. I didn't have any problems at all.
