help me please

first of all i know the word mazda is in my name but i don't own one anymore. I bought an 88 grandam se for $350 and it wasn't running. I changed the module and coil packs with used ones that I know are good. The car ran fine untill I took it for a rip down the highway. I know that the lockup solenoid for the tranny kicks in at about 110km. I do believe my solenoid jammed because it hasn't been used for about a year and the symptond it showed were that when I slowed down the car would act like it was a standard and I was trying to drop the clutch in fourth and stall also when i step on the gas it bogs and backfires. I unplugged the solenoid and let it cool for awhile and when I started it up it ran and drove fine but acted up again before I got home. Now my question is, will the solenoid cure itself or is there someway to jump it closed or something. By the way it is the 2.5 4 cylinder TBI 4 tech engine. Please help

Re: help me please

Try running it just unplugged for a while, see if the trans. straightens out.
