my 1997 GTP makes lots of knocking noise ...

my 1997 gtp makes a lots of knocking noise around the supercharger, and the rpm gauge just shouts off to 0 RPM when i drive and even sometimes my car turns off when im driving... can anybody tell me may this be a supercharger gone bad, or can anybody suggest me anything

Take the belt off the supercharger and see if problems persist. Thats the best way to see if its the supercharger that is causing your trouble. I have personally seen a supercharger lock up and kill the car.

SO far so good thanx now when i took off the belt everything seems to work fine no knocking noise or anything..But when i turn the pulley back and forth it seems it's loose inthere inside a little bit what can i do about this? can anybody suggest how do i fix this and what may be wrong with it?

Since your car is a 97 which probably means it has higher mileage, so I would start w/ getting a new coupler from ZZP.

Its an easy job to swap and shouldnt take more then an afternoon for a newb.

can actually a bad coupler shut off an RPM gauge scale or turn off an engine just trying to find out as much as i can thanx
