I just finnished putting our engine back together and can't remember exactly how to hook up the pertronic ignition, is it red to + and black to - ? That's what seems logical, but I know that if its wrong it will fry instantly. Can someone please advise here? Thanks, bama

Why reply if you dont know?
Yes, red to the positive (+) coil terminal, and black to the negative (-) coil terminal. |

Red actually goes to a hot connection (12V hot) and the black to the (-)coil.A resistor in the line will screw up the module,and it wont work well.
