Loose door panels

I have a 97 GPGTand all 4 of my door panels are loose, i can kind of pull them away from the door with little effort and they rattle when hitting a bump or if my stereo is loud enough. does anyone else have this problem or know of a way to fix it? thanks

Go to the parts dept. at the dealer. Tell them that you want all new clips for your door. The dealer down the street gave me about 20 of them for free. Take the door panel off, replace clips and it's fixed. Takes about 20 mins.

Have fun.

Re: Loose door panels

Hey, do the panels below the windows in the rear of a 2-door pull off and use the same clips? One of mine is loose, and it rattles when my radio is too loud. I've got a sackful of the clips somewhere in my dad's toolbox, if they'll work.

Never have taken those off. I'll check it out and let you know.

OK, so I didn't have to rip my car apart. I called the dealer. Parts says it shows the same clips as front door panel.
Hope that does it for you.
