sub/amp question

I have two 8 ohm subs. They are 10" 130w RMS and 400w Max Pioneer. I would like to know what wattage amp and I need and how to wire the subs. (parallel im guessing).

I'd personally shoot for a 400watt RMS @ 4ohm amp then.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Just be sure to set the gains right so it doesn't distort in the higher volumes. Profile has an amp that does about that for less than $75 ($59 before shipping at Ike's Sound). Should serve you well.
