Ok how is the front and rear on the zr2 lifted??? ive never looked at 1 close up, Also can i use whatever the zr2 uses for a lift on my 96 ls 4wd ext cab s-10??

I was going to get a 2 inch body lift and 6 inch suspension lift and some good year mtrs but if i can get the zr2s lift from one at the junkyard ill just use that because my funds are limited right knwo

Re: hows the zr2 lifted

I've been under mine a few times and it just has torsion bars up front and springs on the back with a sway bar.No blocks. So what lift there is must be in the torsion bars and springs theirselves and the 31 inch tires also.

The zr2 uses a completely different frame than their respective s10/sonoma/blazer/jimmy/bravada cousins...

The frame is 3" wider
Different suspension mount points (which gives it it's main lift)
46mm blitstein shocks
different control arms
the rear is 6" wider
31x10.5 tires stock
larger wheel and axel bearings

You can not use zr2 suspension parts on a regular truck..
