jeep cj upgrades

i just bought a 2000 jeep cj and it is all stock except for the 4 inch lift and a flowmaster muffler i want to get a little more power out of it and i wanted to know if anyone had some good suggestions for some cheap performance and power upgrades. thanks

WOW! I though they quit selling the CJ in 1986. We need a little more info man. What engine, what transmission? How many miles? Do you just want performance?

oops i meant tj and its a 5 speed dana 44 in the back 4.0 in line six pretty much just looking to get some more power out of this smaller engine

Smaller engine? 242 cubic inches is one of the largest 6-cyl unleaded engines made. I recomend starting with a cold air intake from AEM, it's a really nice setup. You can also upgrade the throttle body and install a spacer below the throttle body. I wouldn't mess with the exhaust manifold or cat. but after that you might want to upgrade to a Borla exhaust. Try going to the good jeep parts sites:
