Post BMW 318ti Compact - X Reg - 2000

Hi i have just purchased a BMW BMW 318ti Compact - X Reg - 2000 and cant find if its the E36 or E46 modle? It has the old style lights... can anybody help me?

If its kinda square in shape it ll be an E36 and if its more rounded with small headlights its an E46. This is a link to a pic on the E36 http://www.whatcar.co.uk/car_review_...DL=0&RT=184766 . A hope u enjoy the car am think about getting one myself.
