fuel

hey. i have a 91 mr2 turbo. i would like to know why im only getting about 130 miles per tank. does anyone have any ideas? it seems to get worse gas mileage the nicer i am to it. should i go ahead and give it a tune up and change the fuel filter?and should that help with the mileage?
thanks in advance

Re: fuel

If you have not done it in the last year, I would buy new TOYOTA cap, rotor, wires and some NGK copper plugs.

What condition is your air and fuel filters in?

Are you running an aftermarket Blow Off valve? .... they are great sources of lost performance and poor gas mileage.

Re: fuel

Off boost, with normal driving you should get 25/mpg or so.

You should get 200+ miles to a tank unless you are constantly boosting.
