Best way to protect black car?

I have a 2 year old black car and I'm forced to park on an outdoor parking lot under weather. I tried some Nu Finish, because it supposedly offers the longest protection. I went through an automatic car wash(i don't have access to garden hose/water tap) and applied it according to the directions.

Water beads great, but this stuff leaves nasty hazes and the package says no buffing/polishing needed.

What can I use that gives nice looks without the hazes and protect the paint from weather?

"mothers" has a really good product line. your hazy finish is probably due to dirt on your wax applicator.

Black is very tricky, without seeing it I can't say an exact method that will bring ultimate shine. A good place to start is with some thing like Meguiars or Mothers multi stage application. Do the obvious, wash/dry car and never apply chemical in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces. Clay bars work wonders for pulling light contaminents from the paint. After claying, Meguiars Swirl Remover followed by New Car Glaze followed by Mequiars Wax. If your going that route I suggest spending $25 on an orbital buffer, doing it by hand will take LOTS & LOTS of time. Make sure to use different pads with each chemical, and I rec. microfiber towels for chemical removal. Instead of wax you should consider Paint Sealer since the car is parked outdoors, sealer will last months while even the best waxes only last weeks in good conditions(garaged). it is not sold in stores, just through detail chemical suppliers.

There are similar porducts in the store but you can count on them washing off the first time it rains.

DUDE THIS IS A JOB KEEPING BLACK CLEAN. SO HERE IT GOES , GO TO LOCAL STORE. GET MEGUIARS #7 SEALER ITS A IT IS OIL BASED SO IT WILL BE A JOB . AFTER THAT GET THE#26 YELLOW WAX THIS EASY ON AND OFF.THIS WILL CURE YOUR PROBLEM.

get you an orbital buffer(adjustable speed) set it to where it doesnt circulate, just to where it kinda vibrates, it works alot better than hand waxing or you will end up with swirls, goto either a detail shop or a detail supply shop and get you some PRO GOLD,and as long as you are gonna go that far also check on the price of some black pearl(just incase you do get swirls) that is what I suggest

I AGREE WITH THE BUFFING PART IT HELPS THE CAR HOLD WAX . IF YOU BUFF IT AND KEEP IT WAXED EVERY SO OFTEN YOU WILL NOT HAVE AS MUCH PROBLEM RUBBING THE WAX ON AND OFF. BUT THE ONLY WAY TO BUFF ONE RIGHT IS WITH A ANGLE BUFFER/SANDER.
PUT A BUUFING PAD PREFERABLE A FOAM ONE THAT U CAN USE WATER WITH WHILE U BUFF .THIS WORKS GREAT. THE PRO GOLD WAX I AM A REAL FAN OF .IT HAS GOT HARD TO FIND WERE I AM FROM SO NEXT BEST THING IS YELLOW WAX.
