Pictures of my car

I finally did it. I took the time to take some pictures of my car. Mostly just the exterior. Ummm, I hope you enjoy it. It's really plain right now. And I am in desperate need for some rims and to lower it. Here's the link.

I put the pictures in the wrong folder and was too lazy to change it so it says My Monitor as of now. Might take some time to load.

Let me know what you think of it. ANd any suggestions on what I could do to make it look better. Thanks.

Re: Pictures of my car

Big ole bottle of simple green. Super concentrated... wet down engine bay, spray SG all over engine bay and let sit 10-15 min. Get hose and rinse till no more suds appear. Get a towl you don't want anymore and wipe everything down. And i mean everything..... you luck out with your car being a dark color. It dosn't show as much dirt as a white one does. But if i can get mine this clean, so can you..

Re: Pictures of my car

What you have shown in your photos is a warm air intake. You need to remove that black box where your old air filter use to sit. Then your intake will sit where its suppose to sit, and ebay intakes aren't the best.

Stock air box removel is easy. If its like mine and its bolted in simply remove the hardware and slip it out. If its just in there with clips or something simply grab and pull. Better yet...rip the sum bitch out of there. As for the engine I as well used simple green a hose and for after everything was dry I use I think its called dc2 engine detailer or its bc2 or something somthing 2 hell if I can remember. As for the gap, its not really too noticable on the pictures or maybe Im just not seeing it.

Re: Pictures of my car

To remove it you have to remove your battery. Look for bolts holding it in place. There are some inside the box it self and maybe 1-2 more outside it somewhere i forgot actually. Then its a matter of tugging it out of the support bracket. Then your head lights just look like they need to be adjust or somthing. All you need to do it place with them to get them to sit right. When you put the clear corners on, you may have no set them right.

Re: Pictures of my car

dude even if you pull the air box out it'll never be a true cold intake , what your going to end up with is just a short ram air induction system...if you want cold air your going to need like 3-4 feet of tube that sits right behind the grill on your front bumper

Re: Pictures of my car

ya I guess thats whay I get for buying an ebay pile of crap. but it doesn't seem to hard to remove that box. but before i do, I should probably get a new intake. any suggestions? I will have to mess around with my headlights to see if I can get rid of that ugly gap.
