any 1 know where i can get or how to make a performance intake for my 1984 celica gt

i have a 1984 celica gt and i cant find a intake any ware.no one seems to amke one.so i was wondering if any 1 new where i can get one or if any 1 was successfull in making there own if they could share it.and send some pics..

i dont know where u can find one. all u would have to do is measure and cut some metal piping thats close to the same size as ur intake manifoldconnect it with a rubber connecter thing. and then go to the auto parts store and buy a good filter like k&n or other good brand. or just buy a high flow box filter and replace it with ur stock one

hi,

i was thinking.do u guys know when u open the hood and the intake setup is on the left.and there is like a thing that looks like a horn that sticks out where the air come in.i was thinking what if i extended that so it would be infront of the grill wouldent that act like a ram air system .u guy sthink that would work and gain some HP.
