Alarm Reset??

Does any body know how to reset the ML350 alarm??....The remote control doesn't work after i replaced a new battery to the remote control. I couldn't even use the remote to lock/unlock the car. I was told the Bmw and Benz alarm has to be reset after remote battery has been changed in order to make the alarm work. would anybody please help me .......

Try disconnecting the battery terminals for 5 minutes. Be aware that the stereo may have a lock out code. Retrieve this code before you disconnect the battery. Hope this helps. Best of luck to you.
