Headlamp Replacement 411

I'm sure this has been covered previously, but as a new member, I'm desparate for answers to what seems to be another common problem with the beetles. My son owns a 2000 VW New Beetle 1.8T with a burned out drivers side low beam headlamp. What is the process to replace this bulb without having to go to the dealer?

please dont go to dealer!! beetle are so easy to work on. always go online google search anything.
