Would it hurt to spray some undercoating on the frame of my Blazer? The frame looks rusty. This is a 2000(of course it is surface it is not rusted out)

I used the spray cans of 3M Undercoating puchased at an auto parts store. I applied it on the frame rails as well as the wheel wells. Keeps it looking nice and black. No rust whatsoever.

Re: under coating

just do some light sanding and get some 3m undercoating... if you have a nice cement driveway, dont do it there

Heh, since I did my BL the frame really showed it's color... (rust) I spent yesterday doing my frame with bedliner coating.... Stuff hardens like a rock and dries with a very nice texture... (Used duplicolor bed liner w/ a spray gun)

Re: under coating

i put my under coating on in the grass. i didn't sand it and it held though the winter fine. i used black spray paint to do the wheel wells and i also painted my rear axle and leaf springs.
