port and polish hp gains?!
i have a d15, how much hp could i get from a port and polish?! someone enlighten me plz! oh and how much it would cost too would be niice

In my opinion I wouldn't bother with it on a D15. The basic p&p job usually starts at around $350. You can't say for sure how much power increase you will have because there are to many variables. For what you will pay for the p&p you could find a Y8 or Z6 head and put it on and feel more of a power gain.

Re: port and polish hp gains?!
The gains with a port and polish are usually quite minimal because Honda designs their heads to be quite efficient from the factory. Its not the same as with old V8s and stuff where they weren't designed as well.
With Hondas you have to have most of the normal mods covered already in order to see much from it, meaning you probably have a long way to go before a P&P would be a benefitial mod. |
