Re: i need more ideas for my 03

In your impala is it a 3.4or a 3.8 i personally own a 3.4L impala and i havn't found a cold air intake for it as in k&N , AEM and it seems that they arn't mking one for the 3.4L engine . Also i found a supercharger for this engine at www.rsmracing.com which has alot of good aftermarket parts. We'll hopefully you can help me out and give me a few answers. Cus i want my impala to be alot faster and a better car to drive in performance wise

intake

i have the 3.4L enginge. i actually bought mine off of ebay and for like 20 bucks and replaced the filter with a 7in k&n cone filter. i took a look on the website and they have a filter system on there for the 3.4. its a more complete kit and i would recomend getting that one

I contacted k&n and they told me that they dind't make any filters for the 3.4L engine. Hmm maybe they miss understood what i was attempting to make them understand? who knows but thanks.

Re: i need more ideas for my 03

Seeing how disliked the 3.4 is by owners with them and being so underpowered compared to other V6's I doubt you will find much in the way of parts. Cold air intake's are somewhat universal between cars though, you could also 'home-make' one with some PVC and the cone filter.

Another idea, don't do anything to it but general maitence and save up for a better car, or if you like the Impala's styling, a better model Impala. With the current incentives and such on the new ones and all. I wish I would have seen it coming, I could have gotten myself a 2005 SS instead
