Aem V2
I was just wondering what everyone thought about the AEM V2. I've had a couple of friends who have said that it does increase the cars performance. But then again I've talked to others who have said that its just louder and that it doesnt do anything. I was thinking about getting one for $120 from a guy. What do you guys think?

an intake wont add much HP, more throttle response than anything. the filter is critical in gaining the most bang for the buck, go with a K&N or Cool Blue filter. the AEM intake tube isnt much different than any other intake except that it is powder coated to reflect heat but you could also put a header wrap around it and do the same thing.

most air intake companys claim that an intake will net 10-15 HP but youll most likely pick up only 3-4 HP, more if you have a turbo or SC
