power loss and gas in oil
I dont know what happened except a plug came out and all my oil dropped. i parked it and had to push start it to unlock the engine. it runs but now the power band is like from 1900 to 2400 and stlls and sputters anywhere after 2400rpm. shuts down when not pushing the gas and idles at like 300 before shutting down.Any help would be greatly appreciated. and if you know where to get a jdm 4g64 engine id really apreciate cause i wanna build an all motor 4g64 spyder. any performance parts links would be greatly appreciated!!

97spyder2,
Just goto Google and you'll find just about everything you can think of. You will also find performance parts to rebuild just about any Mitsubishi engine. |

Re: power loss and gas in oil
The reason gas is in the oil is because your piston rings are shot from no oil. The reason you had to push start the car is because you seized the motor. BTW... In my opinion all motor is a waste of money and has been known not to make very much power... Just something to think about. Get rid of that single cam motor cause thats even worse. Good luck with the rebuild or new motor, whichever you choose.
