When does it become harassment? When does someone cross the line?

For example there is this guy (or should I say old man – he’s in his 60s) who constantly stares at my chest, at lunch he waits until everyone has left the room before he talks to me and then it’s always about stuff he’s told me fifty million times and he takes forever to get it out. Whenever he wants something he calls me “a gorgeous hunk of womanhood :apuke: :apuke: . And he’s always invading my personal space.

Is this harassment or am I just overreacting???

it's not harrament in a legal view, but you should confront him about it, or it could become sexual harrasment, and if that doesn't work, go to your boss, then the courts,

Because we’ve only got one staff cafeteria and I don’t want to sit outside because everyone who sits out there smokes. It’s also not just at lunchtime, it’s also whenever I have to go down to the warehouse for anything. He always makes kissy noises :apuke: and stands way too close.

I also take a magazine to the lunchroom with me and stick my head in that (even if I’m not reading it) so he won’t talk to me and I’ve also tried pretending that I’m so engrossed in an article that I don’t hear him, but that still doesn’t stop him.

yeah, just ask him to lay off, tell him how you feel, most guys(at least me) dont try to make women feel bad and will stop if they feel they are

I guess from a legal point of view its pretty grey.
It is haressment if it keeps going on.
The best thing to do is bring it to your boss'es attention & also
advise the pervert that it is bothering (pissing) you.

I certainly don’t think he does it on purpose. I think he thinks that he’s being witty or funny, but he drives me nuts! He was the same with a few of the other girls that work here and they just told him to piss off. I just have a hard time bringing myself to do that.

True, true, but it’s a GTS 25t the 25t is VERY important to add on to the end of the GTS bit!

Harassment is what occurs when someone persists with behaviour that they have been told is offensive.If my Dad is still bothering you even after you have told him unequivocally that you do not want his attention,feel free to tip a glass of iced water all over his nuts next time he annoys you......
