SWEET GN in Ohio

I went out to the local drag strip and saw an awesome GN. I have pics of it but need to get em posted. I looked under the hood and saw the twin turbo v6 but one turbo was new. The underhood had a Buick turbocharged logo on it and it was just plain bad..
I think it ral like 11's

Got pics:

ummm LOL thatis a nice Buick but, read the FAQ. GN's were and never have been a twin turbo car. That one is not a twin turbo car either

because there is only one turbo on that car. Not two.

Re: SWEET GN in Ohio

One turbo is often better than two. There are pros and cons to all systems, but generally speaking, if you want a reaaaaaaaaally fast car, go with one big, well planned turbo system. For example...the MkIV Supra and last generation RX-7...both have a pretty highly advanced sequential turbo system from the factory that reduces lag at lower RPMs, but most of the extreme examples of these cars have converted to one big turbo.

GNs are crazy cars...seen them run 9s on street tires with mostly stock engines...tis good shit. If I had to drive a domestic car, this would be my first pick.

Re: SWEET GN in Ohio

NO BUICK GN, GNX OR T-TYPE WAS EVER PRODUCED WITH TWIN TURBOS! Sorry, had to rant! Now there are after market twin turbo setups out there. I think what you are seeing as two turbos are the shinny side is the compressor side and the dull side is the exhaust side. That GN in your pics is very VERY nice. Are you sure it only ran 11s? Mine is not as "bling" and I run 10s all day. This one has way more "upgrades" than mine.
