Cobra Engine

The time is coming up pretty sonn where Im going to be able to buy something substantial. I was thinking about dropping in a 2000 Cobra DOHC 4.6L with matching manual trans. I know the trans thing can be difficult I've read the articles, but I was wondering about the engine. Would I have to replace the entire wiring harness or could I reuse at least some parts of it? I know, I know... I'd need a new chip and I was planning on contacting Blue Oval Chips for that. But I would really like to hear your guys' imput on it. Thanks.

IMHO - It should be a very good swap.
I believe you will need to update your '95 fuel lines.
Try to get the Cobra's ECU and go ahead and buy a new engine wiring harness.
You could use some of your '95's but a new one wil be ... well ... new.
Plus it will look cleaner.
Also consider buying some Kook's headers.

Re: Cobra Engine

I know it was a hard decision but I had to weigh the pros and cons (mostly financial) of both and the boat won. Well if we ever do an AF ski trip I'm down.
