Amp Wiring

Ok I just bought my accord and there was wiring for a system but one of the wires I cant figure on how to hook it up. There is the think red wire, black wire, rca cables, and a thin blue wire. where does that blue wire hook up to?? is it hooked up to the car or the headunit??? I see the part for it on the amp but dont know where to run it too?? Thanks

Re: Amp Wiring

Red goes to 12v, the black is ground, the blue is the remote turn on that goes to the headunit

Re: Amp Wiring

What head unit (aka CD player, deck) do you have? There should be a matching blue wire on the back somewhere. Oh, and try solderless crimp-on butt connectors for joining your wire... they're so freaking fast to put on, and work 98% as well as soldering. You can get a pack of like 100 at wally world for like 5 bucks over in the automotive section (next to the headlight bulb display, most likely).
