04 crown vic cruise and performance mods

i recently acquired a 04 crown vic p71 it does not have cruise control and i would like to add it. is the wiring harness equipt for cruise on 04? what years are parts interchangeable?What parts are needed?
as far as performance mods im looking to increase performance by making engine more efficient, i have the stock dual exhaust . would there be much of a difference by going low restrict mufflers? would the computer reprogrammer be aworthwile investment for interceptor motor? I have been looking for cold air system or marauder box for 04 but nobody seems to have one. Anyone know a brand or part # for one that will work on 04 crown vic?

do not bother going with a 'high' flow dual exhaust setup. you may gain 1 hp.... unless you want a cool sound coming from your rear !

again, it is all sound...

what gears in the rearend does your pi have? does it have trac-lok?

if you have 3.27s-get 3.73s. if you have 3.55s/keep 'em.

my recommendations... get u/d pulleys, a tune, marauder maf/box(like you thought.

www.adtr.net has the MM intake parts and zip tube that you are looking for, both will add power for a reasonable cost. They also sell (as do MANY others) larger cat-back exhaust, which sadly, will not add any power.

that 04 PI should already have the big air Intake box . Second it should have 3.55 gears stock. As for cruise control your getting into a big wiring job.
