This is what you are looking for, I believe.

Its fiberglass, functional, and expensive. These are made by Keystone Restyling and can be found under the Good Hood name.

I would look around for the best deal. Places like stylin concepts, jc whitney, and truck accessories sell them.

Once you have it painted it would be. Mine is a reflexxion domination. I got it for 280 shipped then another 125 to paint. I couldn't pass it up!

Unless you know a good metal man, I would try to find a pressed HD hood with cowl, instead of adding a cowl to the HD. Only reason for this is personal preference. There are quite a few people around here that buy those stick on cowls or ram air scoops. It just dosen't look right to me.

Reflexxion sells an HD hood also, here it is:

I found it at this web site: btgmotoring

Re: Cowl Induction Hoods

If you look closely, the whole HD grille is different. Notice how it sorta dips down into the bumper and the regular Silverado grille is straight across the bottom? I'm not sure if the whole bumper has to be changed to accomodate this or if the piece of black plastic on top of the bumper just has to be changed. Also, I like the cowl induction hoods, but are there any FUNCTIONAL ram air hoods for the 99-02?

All of the Reflexxion hoods, and Good Hoods are functional. But you need a cold air intake or open air box to make use of it.
